The Task At Hand:  

The Director of Global Sales will lead the development and execution of Aquacycl’s global sales strategy, driving revenue growth in key regions (UK, France, and Benelux). This strategic leadership role requires an individual with a proven track record in long-term sales execution, consultative selling methodologies, and the ability to set, achieve and exceed sales quotas. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, expertise in navigating complex sales cycles, and exceptional leadership skills to build and inspire a high-performing global sales team.   

In This Role, You Will:   

Have a proactive and organized approach to sales management and execution, optimizing a consultative sales strategy, and have a global focus for enterprise customers. Key priorities will encompass leadership across a variety of fronts including sales management, sales coaching, and global sales execution: 

Global Sales: 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global sales strategy aligned with Aquacycl’s revenue goals and market priorities; U.S., UK, France, and Benelux regions.  
  • Partner with our marketing team to create unified sales and marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, demonstrates thought leadership, and grows revenue within our core geographic and industrial segments. 
  • Use your business acumen to understand and communicate customer needs and align these needs to Aquacycl revenue goals, product optimization, and service performance.   

Sales Management: 

  • Optimize discovery and sales processes to shorten the sales cycle by identifying value early and knowing when to walk away. 
  • Balance tactical and strategic tasks to ensure predictable revenue. 
  • Apply Gap and/or SPIN Selling to deliver value throughout the sales process. 
  • Analyze the market to identify growth opportunities. 

Coach and Lead Sales Team: 

  • Use your skills of Gap or SPIN Selling to create an efficient and focused sales operation and clear processes for validating operational success and identifying necessary adjustments.   
  • Coach and develop our sales team to establish best practices, reinforce customer relationships, and execute Gap or SPIN selling approaches with enterprise customers.  
  • Establish and communicate clear sales targets, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and driving accountability across the team.  
  • Be a role model for thoughtful problem solving, active listening, and tenacity. 

In This Role, You’ll Bring With You: 

  • Experience in the Water/Wastewater, F&B, or Chemical Industry. 
  • Background in Industrial or Enterprise Sales within relevant industries. 
  • At least 7+ years working in a sales leadership capacity. 
  • Ability to balance strategic and tactical sales focus to achieve team goals.  
  • Exceptional CRM management. 
  • Specialty in consultative strategies. 

Location:  

  • Open to remote across the US, UK and NL. If internationally based, be flexible to work Pacific Time as least 50% of the work week to support customers.  

Compensation:  

  • $120-130k base + Commissions = $160k+ annual OTE
